Unloading chickens at the slaughterhouse is adjusted to the requirements and options offered by the slaughterhouse. The chickens can be easily transported into the slaughterhouse using conveyor belts when using the trailer’s movable floors in combination with an unloading unit. People do not come into contact with the animals resulting in a minimum of damaged or injured chickens.
Placing two trailers one alongside the other when unloading is the best option. This guarantees the supply of chickens and there will be no empty hooks during the slaughter process.
As only chickens enter the slaughterhouse, the pressure on hygiene is significantly lower. Dirty crates or containers will not enter the slaughterhouse either and a large cleaning system will therefore not be required in the slaughterhouse. This saves space at the slaughterhouse.
