The shuttle is equipped with an automatic weighing system. This allows the operator to read the weight of the loaded chickens when loading the shuttle.

The shuttle with chickens is taken to the especially equipped Peer System trailer to transfer the chickens.

The chickens are placed in the trailer using a conveyor belt on the shuttle and the trailer’s moving floors.

A maximum of 18,000 chickens can be loaded onto the Peer System trailer within an hour when using two shuttles.

The catching team consists of four operators by using a single catching machine and two shuttles. One shuttle is filled while the other shuttle is used to transport the chickens to the trailer.

The shuttles are low enough to be able to drive into a poultry house. Food and water lines must, however, be turned upwards beforehand.

Two shuttle loads fill one layer of the trailer and twenty shuttle loads fill the whole trailer.
